ABOUT BLUEWATER:
Bluewater Covenant Bible Camp is located north of Grand Rapids, MN. Bluewater is owned by the local Red River Valley Covenant Churches. Although Bluewater is affiliated with a denomination, any youth can sign up through Lancaster Covenant Church. Here's how it works:
LCC Financial Support:
Lancaster Covenant Church is committed to paying for a portion of your camp fees, if you:
1) attend the Lancaster Covenant Church
2) attend our ATTIC youth group (middle school & high school ages)
3) attend our Good News Club (elementary ages)
In addition to this type of support mentioned above, LCC does have a separate scholarship opportunity. Scholarship dollars are for families who might need more help. These scholarship funds are accessed by request and can be in combination with the LCC financial support.
REGISTRATION PROCESS:
REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!
Get registered at BLUEWATERCOVCAMP.ORG
- The deposit to secure your child's spot at camp is $50 (paid to camp in your online registration).
- If, when you register, you are wanting to pay for your own child in full, go ahead and register online and pay the full amount.
- If you're interested in, and qualify for financial support (see above), please register online and pay your $50 registration fee to camp, as usual.
- It's our goal to cover half of each kid's remaining camp fee.
- To calculate that LCC's support, here's the formula: Assuming your child is registered already, and you've already paid the $50 deposit out of pocket to secure their spot, simply divide the remaining camp fee balance in half. (I.e., you've already paid $50 online and your remaining balance would be $240 (Nav B, for example), your remaining balance payable to LCC would be $120. (So: $50 by you, $120 by us, $120 by you= $290 for Navigator B camp).
- Get your remaining amount to Kristi or Cheri at the church by May 1st at the absolute latest. If you are not registered, or your check is not here, we will not be able to cover any of your fee. Kristi will then figure out if we have enough to cover the rest of your kid's camp or if you'll need to pay more.
- TRANSPORTATION (PLEASE READ!):
- If you plan drive your student to BCBC, you are able to do that.
- If you want to take advantage of free bus transportation, mark your registration accordingly.
- Under the "what church" section, you can select "Lancaster",
- Under the "RRV Bus" section, you can select "Larson Farms (Rural Stephen)" - That way, we get notified that you'll be using our transportation, as well as camp gets notified, and Larson Farms gets notified. We want to make sure we have room for you on the bus!
As always, if you don't qualify for financial support or would like to request a scholarship beyond the $50 deposit, please contact the church. Our mission is to get kids to camp. We'll do what we can to make that happen!
